EST main objective is to dispose high explosives and ammunition in accordance with the requirements given in the 17th edition of the German Federal Regulations and the European Council Directive 94/67/EC dealing with emission in the environment applicable for hazardous waste incineration plants.

The emission limits are thus fully met.

EST operates its demilitarization procedures in accordance with the quality control procedures of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and of AQAP-2130 "NATO Quality Assurance Requirements for Inspection and Test".All procedures are described in the Quality Manual of our company. DIN EN ISO 9001 certifies our quality assurance system, yet we aim for constant quality improvement. We always work so that high explosives, ammunition and other energetic materials are disposed in a safely and environmentally friendly way, in line with current German and EU regulations. German Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement (BWB) accept the Quality Assurance System descriptions and all procedures.
